The IBV was founded already in 1958; it is the first registered association, of whom the members are interested in beer and brewing and in collecting and keeping cultural objects, that are in connection with beer. Breweriana like beer-mats/coasters and labels can remind us of former breweries closed a long time ago and help us e.g., to draw up historical valuable brewery directories. Our special society journal called "UNSER STECKENPFERD" is edited 4 times a year and informes e.g. about worth knowing news and upcoming exchange meetings, plus illustrations of numerous breweriana.
